Governor Patricia Wells

Governor Patricia Wells has served as the 48th Governor of Columbia since January 2023. Prior to her election, she served as State Attorney General for eight years and was a federal prosecutor for a decade. Governor Wells has focused her administration on economic development, education reform, and environmental protection.

Under her leadership, Columbia has seen record job creation, expanded healthcare access, and significant investments in clean energy infrastructure.
