Columbia Medicaid Expansion Reaches 350,000 Enrollees

The Department of Health & Human Services today announced that Columbia's Medicaid Expansion program has enrolled its 350,000th member, a milestone that underscores the program's success in expanding healthcare access across the state.

"Every one of these enrollees is a Columbia resident who now has access to quality healthcare," said Dr. Maria Santos, Secretary of Health & Human Services. "This program is saving lives and improving health outcomes in communities across our state."

The milestone comes two years ahead of projections, driven by community outreach efforts and streamlined online enrollment processes.
