Road Improvement Program

The Statewide Road Improvement Program is a multi-year initiative to repair, rebuild, and modernize Columbia's road infrastructure. The program addresses structurally deficient bridges, deteriorating highways, and expanding capacity in high-growth corridors.

Program Goals

  • Repair 500 miles of deteriorated highways
  • Replace or rehabilitate 200 structurally deficient bridges
  • Improve traffic flow in 50 congested corridors
  • Expand bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure
